Terms of Service
Last updated September 23, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms cover your use of First.new, including the website, the app builder, and any apps you publish with it (together, the “Service”). First.new is operated by Autorender (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. An early product
First.new is in early access. We ship changes often, and some features may be experimental, change, or be removed. We may also set or adjust usage limits. We’ll do our best to give notice before changes that significantly affect you.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use First.new.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- If you use First.new on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.
4. Your content and your apps
You own your content. That includes the prompts, messages, and files you give us, and the code and apps the Service generates for you. We don’t claim ownership of any of it.
To run the Service, you give us permission to store, process, and display your content — for example, to send your prompts to our AI providers, build and preview your app, and host it when you publish. This permission only lasts as long as we need it to provide the Service to you.
Public means public. Apps you publish can be seen by anyone with the link. If you submit an app to the Showcase or share it as a template, other people can view it, and with templates, make their own copy to build on.
5. AI-generated output
First.new uses AI to generate code and content. The output may be incorrect, insecure, or similar to what other people receive. You’re responsible for reviewing and testing what you build before relying on it, especially if it handles other people’s data or payments.
6. Acceptable use
Please don’t use the Service to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Build phishing pages, scams, malware, or apps that impersonate other people or brands.
- Collect other people’s personal data without a lawful basis and clear notice.
- Harass, threaten, or exploit anyone, including minors.
- Attack, overload, or probe the Service, or get around credit limits, invites, or other restrictions.
- Resell or automate access to the Service without our permission.
You’re responsible for the apps you publish and how they’re used. We may remove content or unpublish apps that break these rules.
7. Credits, plans, and payments
- Building uses credits. Free and promotional credits may be limited and can change.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from billing settings, and you keep access until the end of the current period.
- Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and expire as described on the pricing page.
- Payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll take a look.
- If we change prices, we’ll tell you before the change applies to your plan.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on other providers — for sign-in, AI models, hosting, and payments — and you can connect some of your own accounts. Your use of those services is also covered by their terms. We’re not responsible for services we don’t control.
9. Our service
The Service itself — our software, design, and the First.new name and logo — belongs to us. These terms don’t give you rights to our brand. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
10. Ending things
You can stop using First.new and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other people at risk. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to export your work.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t make promises about the Service being uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we don’t guarantee your content will never be lost — keep your own copies of anything important.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
You agree to cover reasonable losses we face from claims caused by content you publish or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We’ll update these terms as First.new grows. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Autorender is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
